On-premise experience:
- Administration of Windows server 2016, 2019
- Active Directory administration and management
- Azure Active Directory: Management and Enabling SSO for SaaS applications
- VMWare administration and support
- Linux administration and support including scripting to automate tasks
- Coding experience
- Powershell coding for environment reporting and automation
- Python coding experience is an asset
- Storage and backup administration
Cloud Engineering experience
- Experience in sprint-based delivery with user story creation, refinement, sprint execution
- Experience with managing Azure services and cloud. AWS experience is an asset.
- Experience or opportunity to learn infrastructure as code and code management practices o Azure - Azure Resource Manager (ARM Templates)
o AWS - Cloud Formation template
- Experience with designing and implementing Infrastructure CI/CD, tool chain applications and code repositories and management practices (Check-in/Out, versioning)
- Experience in implementing and operating automated server OS patching
- Creating security compliant Windows and Linux server base images and automating the delivery
- Automation experience or opportunity to learn:
o Deploying and managing dynamic non-production environments o Implementing and managing automation for server and database on/off scheduling o Designing and deploying serverless services - Azure Functions, AWS Lambda
