A Food Scientist with City and Guilds Advanced Millers Certificate, BSc. Degree in Food Science, Technology and Nutrition, Dip. in Food Technology and over thirty (30) years hands on experience in various milling firms in Kenya, Uganda and Ethiopia, where I have worked as Cereal/Grain Miller, Mill and product development manager, Production manager and Quality assurance manager. Previously worked with Alpha Grain millers as production manager, and with Azam Group in Kampala (U), and Mwanza (T) and Capwell Industries Ltd as Mill Manager in charge of milling operations and product development, Unga Ltd, among other leading companies in the region.

Three porridge flour brands developed received universal acceptance at the mass market. Exposed to HACCP and other quality management systems. Trained staff on food microbiological safety and personal hygiene, GMPs, fortification and milling at both small, medium and large scale enterprise levels.

• Ensure that health, safety and good manufacturing practices are followed.
• Drafting timelines for the jobs/operations, monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
