- Manage 10 head of horses on various hunting expeditions
- Work alone, for long hours, in the wilderness with no cell service or supervision for 75 days straight
- Guide hunters in the Yukon wilderness for extensive periods of time
Production Coordinator - AccessSMT - Nanaimo, BC

- Schedule all upcoming production into our wood or metal shop as required
- Coordinate with other branches to ensure all pieces for production arrive on the required date
- Forecast constantly and advise project managers, customers, coordinators of any changes to production
- Order parts as required for the completion of production
- Advise all project managers once orders are completed and ready to go to site
- Weekly team meetings with the production teams to review processes and procedures to ensure we are doing our best to maximize time and efficiency, as well as change procedures as required. Also would use this time to review upcoming jobs, shop requirements, and determine the personnel appropriate for the upcoming jobs.
- Fill in on various warehouse tasks as required by the team, from receiving, to picking and packing, and helping customers
Operations Supervisor - AccessSMT - Nanaimo, BC

- Schedule 5 Ton deliveries VIA our truck and coordinate with customers and PM's on drop offs
- Schedule all customer courier deliveries - coordinating with PM's for dates of shipments
- Coordinate picking of materials for upcoming shipments and pick-ups

Welder - Holdfast - British Columbia

- Using blue prints to cut holes and pre machine plates to be welded
- Ensure supply chain was not clogged and product was rolling smoothly to the stack tables for sandblasting
Kiln Coordinator - Western Forest Products - Port Alberni, BC

- Review all upcoming kiln required orders and advise the sawmill on cuts required
- Schedule all lumber to go into kilns for drying period
- Take inventory every day to ensure lumber requirements are met
- Schedule truck deliveries of all lumber to the kiln sites
- Coordinate with the forklift operators to ensure correct lumber and quantities are put on each truck and into each kiln site
- Meet with power engineers / boiler makers every week to review upcoming repairs, downtime, and kiln dried lumber requirements
- Order parts as required for the kiln sites
- Use excel extensively to coordinate kilns and drying times
Warehouseman - Western Forest Products - Port Alberni, BC

- Purchase all inventory for stock and upcoming jobs
