• Conduct field quality-control testing on soil, aggregate, asphalt, and concrete while following established procedures and site safety requirements.
• Operate nuclear density gauges to measure soil and asphalt compaction and verify results against project requirements.
• Collect samples and perform laboratory testing, including Proctor compaction, soil and aggregate gradation, and concrete compression tests.
• Calculate Optimum Moisture Content (OMC) and Maximum Dry Density (MDD), translating raw measurements into engineering data for field and laboratory reports.
• Record accurate, concise test data and communicate prompt results to office staff, field technicians, forepersons.
• Calibrate and maintain testing equipment and complete laboratory housekeeping to support a safe, organized work environment.
