(i) Designing customer specific electrical products, equipment,
systems, or processes to meet requirements.
(ii) Evaluating existing designs and creating E-plan circuitry design for specific product lines, electrical equipment, sub systems, and components.
(iii) Conducting tests, evaluating, and analyzing the feasibility,
design, operation, and performance of electrical equipment,
components, or systems.
(iv) Developing and reviewing engineering layout designs to ensure alignment with customer specifications and performing appropriate design calculations and drafting modifications.
(v) Evaluating electrical designs of prototypes
(vi) Performing BOM (bill of material) revision activities for control systems through engineering change notices, requests, and orders.
Knowledge of industrial electronic components (sensors, safety devices, actuators, drives, etc.).
Experience with pneumatics (readings schemes, assembly, troubleshooting).
Experience in low voltage wiring, Knowledge of operating within an ISO 9001 quality system.
Advanced knowledge of EPLAN. Thorough understanding of the life cycle, through-life costs, configuration control, safety and environmental aspects of product development.
