I am 4A Architectural Engineering student at the University of Waterloo. I'm a driven and aspirational student with an interest for architectural design and project management. I'm an individual dedicated to grow and improve my skills and knowledge in the field of architecture and engineering.
With a robust background in construction and architecture, I have gained valuable experience through roles at PCL Constructors Canada, Michael Garron's Hospital, and Sheridan College. At Sheridan College, as an Architectural Technologist & Tutor, I assisted students with complex software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp, helping them overcome challenges and improve their design skills. I provided support in structural and mechanics courses, ensuring students comprehended difficult concepts. I also played a key role in coordinating architectural events and Architecture Week, fostering a collaborative learning environment. Additionally, I conducted review sessions for Mechanics and Calculus courses, aiding students in their academic preparation and success.
Previously, as an Engineering Student at PCL Constructors Canada, I ensured compliance with safety regulations and documented project progress using advanced construction applications like Navisworks and Revit. My role involved clash detection of various systems and tracking deficiencies using BIM 360 and Bluebeam software. At Michael Garron's Hospital, I coordinated RFIs, tracked submittals, and monitored on-site reconstruction, effectively liaising with contractors, engineers, architects, and clinicians to ensure project needs and progress were met. This diverse experience has honed my skills in project coordination, construction documentation, and architectural education, making me well-versed in both the theoretical and practical aspects of architecture and construction.
