I am a graduate, I completed my BSc Nursing in my home country, after my graduation, I worked as a Nursing Tutor and clinical instructor for Nursing students. Later, I worked as an RN in United Arab Emirates for 15 years. Me and my family came to Canada on PR status. I was a home maker for few years and later volunteered as a Nursing aid at Covenant health hospital. I listened to patients without being judgmental as well as being patient.
At present, I am working as a lunchroom supervisor, this experience with kids has given me more work satisfaction. In my class, there are two special needs students. Communicating and helping them when asked has given me confidence that I can take care of a special needs student with my medical background and training from your Organization. I am looking forward to go through the training and improve my knowledge and skills. In turn, I will be beneficial to students assigned by the Organization.
I worked as a Nursing Tutor and Clinical instructor for 1st and 2nd year Nursing students. Later, I worked as an RN in United Arab Emirates, I worked at 2 hospitals as an RN, I fulfilled my duties and responsibilities in medical and surgical wards and assisted some maxillofacial surgeries.
In 2005, I secured a job as an Emergency Nurse, in Emergency and Public Safety dept, Abu dhabi Police, Ministry of Interior. This is a rewarding, as it has given me an immense job satisfaction. Some of my duties and responsibilities includes, Triaging, assessed ABC, defibrillated, resuscitative care, conducted home deliveries, stabilized patients, applied immobilization devices etc.
I am a graduate, I completed my BSc Nursing. I have acquired a certificate from IQAS for my high School education. My nursing credentials were recognized by CRNA, I have decided not to go further due to my family obligations.
