I am looking to make a permanent change into a more stable career. For the past six years I have worked in Vancouver’s film and television industry, primarily in department coordination and assistant roles. These positions required me to manage small teams, oversee all the departments digital servers, managing the hours and payroll of my team, coordinate with vendors and the general public, and lastly to create technical packages for both the executives of the production but also our Union representatives —honing my ability to stay organized, adaptable, and customer-focused in fast-paced settings.
Prior to that, I gained hands-on customer service experience at establishments like Indigo, The Tap House, Tacomio, Canuck Coffee, and Big Pete’s Comics and Collectibles, where I assisted customers, processed transactions, and ensured an exceptional guest experience. My combined experience in direct customer interaction and logistical coordination has provided me with the ability to problem-solve on the spot, my eye for organization and efficiency, clear communication with both co workers and executives, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
I have 6 years of work experience in the Vancouver film industry in both creative and administrative positions. I also have 2 years of experience in customer service based roles.
I have a BFA in Communication art, which was tailored to working in creative fields such as film/television/advertising.
