2D art has always been a priority in my interests and I have tried to gain experience in the relevant areas. In Korea, there are only a few 2D background art parts, but I didn't give up. I built a career. I applied because I was sure this would be a very good opportunity for me. I have enclosed my CV,
Resume, and portfolio website, so please take a look.
I did background art in the children's animation project for the theater version. It was a task to color the simple background picked in 3D, and it had to be finished quickly and reliably. It was a six-month project.
I worked as a storyboarder for a children's TV animation company for a year. I worked for a while to edit the animation that was made into a webtoon. I was also responsible for the total storyboard, concept illustration, UI design and character design of short animation within the company and then did background art for about two years in the same company. The background, which varies depending on the situation and time weather, was first set with a concept and colored according to the style. I heard that they cut the project's turnaround time faster than usual,
and they were able to finish a much larger quantity and higher quality background on time.
Since high school I have majored in animation and experienced the basics and creation process of animation. At university I have also majored in animation, learning video work (Filming and editing),
The basics of 3D programs, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects.
The skills I have learned in college were basic, but through this, I was able to grasp the process of animation being created by all the other technicians, not only my part.
I joined the club and released an illustration every month, and the main programs that I used were
Adobe Photoshop and Clip Studio.
