Setare Maleki

I am a second-year Biomedical Engineering student specializing in signals/systems and bioinformatics at the University of British Columbia. As a biotechnology enthusiast, I am expanding my experience in firmware, hardware and software applications in the field of biomedical engineering. I have experience in Java, C++, and Python languages and am looking into developing a full-stack. Additionally, I have been involved in problem-solving through hackathons and case competitions. I have experience coaching students to team them with the application of the Human Centered Design Thinking process for executing high-quality prototypes. Thus, problem-solving and ideation is a skill that comes very naturally to me. My ultimate career vision is no matter what path I take with my career I want to ensure there's a positive societal impact with the work I do.
