I graduated from the University of Toronto with an honour degree in criminology and sociology. I also took some calculus courses in my first year. I have taught English for the past few years to children from age 4-15.
I realized that I have a passion for teaching, but would like to start teaching other subjects as well, like math. I am going back to school in September, but will have a few days off to pursue addition al work opportunities. I have a passion for learning and teaching, and am eager at the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young people, helping them on their journey.
In addition to my teaching experience, which involves a mix of TPR, visual aids, and active listening, I have also worked as a regional manager in my previous position for FNF Canada, where I engaged with a wide variety of clients and helped educate new hires.
My most recent education would be my TEFL certificate and UX course, which combined, aided in my ability to teach and conduct effective research.
