Shelby Killoh

I have two years experience in customer service and two summers of volunteer experience assisting in children’s summer programs.

I have a basic knowledge of common computer programs (ex. Microsoft Office, Google) and am a very quick learner. I am also able to effectively research and teach myself the basics in most skills. I have a basic understanding of French from high school.

I am a creative, passionate, driven person with great attention to detail and am hoping to one day have a career in journalism, photography, or other media related fields.

I have two years experience in customer service.

One year in fast food at the Strathmore Dairy Queen which was a fast paced environment where I quickly learned and memorized information on various products and was able to assist customers in ordering and ensuring they got their orders in a timely matter and acceptable state.

One year and counting in retail at the Strathmore Walmart in the Produce Department where I assisted customers in finding products, giving them information on merchandise, and helping provide alternative products if something was out of stock. I also got used to heavy lifting and manual labour.

I also have two summers volunteering at the Strathmore Library Summer Reading Program where I assisted in supervising kids ages 3-13, helped them find books and develop a love of reading, assisted in leading crafts, games, and other activities, and helped parents stay informed on what the kids did every day.

Graduated High School in 2021 at Holy Cross Collegiate where I took a variety of electives including: French, Band, Drumline, World Drumming, Art, Cosmetology, and Foods.

These helped develop skills in Food Safety, Memorization, Attention to Detail, and Creativity.
