Support Worker at the Bathroom Project consisted of intakes of information for records required by STC policy. Giving Support including securing spots to shelters. Giving Support to the relatives including, treatment facilities, detox centers, direct to housing and to direct to other organizations as requested by individuals. Job included maintaining a clean, safe work environment for relatives and staff. Shift work involved. Working at the Drop-In shelter as required to schedule.

Preparing food trays 3 times daily with expectations of special diets concerns of allergies for the inmates. Trays placed on carts in orderly fashion for each wing of the remand centre, both men's wings and women's wing. Hours ranged from 10-12 hours daily.
After each meal carts were emptied, organized to prepare sanitary practices. Dishwashing after for about 700 individuals for each meal was completed. Physically demanding, fast decision making, accurate information through the entire shift for the average of 700 individuals we catered to.
