My name is Sigurlaug Linnet but people call me Silla. I'm from Reykjavík, Iceland. I just graduated from NSCC, professional photography. Before I moved to Nova Scotia I studied early childhood education at the University of Iceland. I have a lot of experience working in a Kindergarten. I'm positive, patient, and hardworking and I love learning something new.
Leikskólinn Hlíð (Kindergarten in Iceland)
Worked as a kindergarten teacher with children from the ages of 14 month old – 6 years old. Main duties consisted of taking care of the children, teaching them while playing, making sure they felt comfortable and happy. I later got promoted to department manager after finishing my degree in early childhood education.

Worked at a gardening job in a cemetery every summer. Main duties consisted of cutting the grass, cleaning the graves, picking the weeds, laying down new grass.
Managed my own team in 2016 and 2017.
Summer job from June - August, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016 og 2017.
Was a manager in 2016 and 2017.
