Manufacturing/Process Engineer - CFN Precision - Vaughan

• Perform in-process and final dimensional inspection using precision measuring instruments. Support machine-tool setup and programming while following manufacturing quality, safety, and production procedures.
• Proficient in hands-on process troubleshooting and fast-response troubleshooting to support current production.
• Set up and maintain work cell and department standardized work instructions and procedures for the extrusion process.
• Responsible for product trials, material trial runs, and conducting tests according to die trial procedures.
• Assist in training production personnel on operating new and existing tooling, equipment, and processes.
• Review facilities and equipment requirements with relevant internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Identify opportunities to achieve productivity, quality, and service improvement targets for the business.
• Improve current production part process capability and repeatability through optimization of existing manufacturing processes.
• Work independently and draw from experience in all aspects of assigned work.
• Work closely with the Project Management Team to support new product launches, engineering change implementation, and product or process continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate, lead, and participate in multidisciplinary teams addressing manufacturing process, productivity, volume output, scrap or rework, quality, safety, and delivery objectives.
