I am a Master of Social Work (MSW) student at Wayne State University with extensive experience supporting individuals and families through community-based programs, outreach, and counseling. My background includes roles with United Way, Windsor Community Housing Corporation, South Essex Community Council, and the Multicultural Council of Windsor and Essex County, where I developed strong skills in client support, program facilitation, and advocacy.
I have worked closely with children, youth, and adults with diverse needs, including newcomers, individuals facing housing insecurity, and clients living with addictions and mental health challenges. My experience includes individual support, group facilitation, crisis intervention, and referral to community resources. I am also skilled in administrative support, grant research and proposals, peer support, and creating welcoming, inclusive environments.
Fluent in English, French, and Romanian, I bring a multicultural perspective and a commitment to equity, harm reduction, and trauma-informed practice. I am passionate about making a positive impact in people’s lives by combining empathy with evidence-based approaches to care and support
