As a project manager, teacher, and technical scientist/researcher, I am passionate about engaging people in collaborative work, especially in environmental causes. My enthusiasm lies in making meaningful connections and establishing partnerships. My drive stems from utilizing my technical and interpersonal skills to foster relationships, support social good, and promote sustainable, connected, and healthy communities.
My over 10 years of project management experience, coordinating volunteers, faculty and students has provided me with initiative and resourcefulness for working independently, and helped me to develop exceptional interpersonal skills for working in teams. From my success collaborating and connecting with diverse groups I have developed and maintained strong networks.
I have many varied experiences and a passion for community engagement - building partnerships and networks for the purpose of collaboration. I have experience teaching people of all ages and levels. I have years of experience doing research (literature reviews, study design, experimentation, data collection, data analysis (qualitative and quantitative) and disseminating that work (papers, reports, newsletters, seminars, workshops, etc.).
I have an extensive breadth of volunteer experiences with charities and nonprofits and an excellent understanding of the fundamental coordinating tasks that support their work/achieve their goals.
