I am a hard-working, humble, adaptable, flexible, and willing to take on new experiences and jobs. There is nothing too small or too big to learn and am looking for a permanent steady job that I do at night so that I can build my home here.
I am a retired ESL teacher who worked for the Japanese and Korean Government teaching Kindergarten to High School. I have also worked at Northern Lakes College as an administrator and worked for Northland School District as a Speech Language Therapist Assistant. I also have experience working in retail as a general clerk and customer service at Crescent Drugs. My latest position was working as an Overnight Freight Stocker for Home Depot in Lloydminster (which I enjoyed thoughly) and resigned from because I moved to Grande PrairiePrairierie. I would like to do something at night and learn new skills so that I can be a permanent member of the company for years to come. I prefer to be working away from a desk and work hands on in my job. I find it more rewarding.
I have recently graduated as a 4th class Power Engineer and am certified by ABSA until May 2026 but I do not think that this is my calling. I also have a TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) diploma. Last, but not least, I have an Honors degree in Political Science from UBC. I have a lot of experience learning so I can learn many things. Currently, I live with my husband and would like to have a permanent full time job that is different from teaching and power engineering.
