- Turn around Inspection on equipment as per scope and recommend repair/replacement based upon inspection findings and create IFW scope with repair procedure for execution.
- Routine inspection of all equipment as per the requirements of CNRL & PEIMS standard.
- Performed external & internal inspection and recommend repairs as per inspection findings on pressure piping, Pressure vessels, Filters, Exchanger, separators, and tanks and enter report in visions and create follow up work order if needed.
- PSV swap or re-certify witnessed installation and complete PRD report and recommend intervals based on pre-pop test results following AB-506 table 1 to increase or decrease intervals.
- Review of ITP issue PWA# in visions and review of final completed work package and signoff final ITP and AB -83, Create follow up work order in Maximo in case of equipment deferral required by Engineering, Maintenance and Operations.
- Worked with RBI team to review history on equipment's and recommend deferrals as needed due to time constraint during turn around. I was part of HRSG boiler 1001 in utility plant in CNRL during spring 2021 shut down.
- Reviewed thickness monitoring data for corrosion calculations, remaining life, and failure investigation. In-service visual inspection of static equipment and pressure piping in accordance with codes and standards.
- Generated inspection reports to document noted defects. Prescribed recommendations for repair based on best engineering practice and requirements of codes and standards.
- Works closely with other plant engineering teams, asset integrity team & maintenance and operations, with the goal of improving plant on-time performance and asset reliability.
- Monitored plant performance, performed equipment inspections, performed Root Cause Analyses on equipment failures and developed projects to improve plant performance and reliability.
- Maintained record of asset deterioration patterns to predict failures and ensure timely repair/replacement.
- Provide recommendations for corrosion control programs including upgrade metallurgy, increased NDE and inspections, lab testing and sample analysis and corrosion coupon.
