MATERIALS & EQUIPMENT COORDINATOR
SKYJACK INC.
Coordination with engineering and prototype build team for project based orders and raw material requirements.
Timely placing of purchase requisitions with purchasing team and regular follow-up with suppliers.
For critical and longer lead time items/materials work on developing strategic supplier base.
Plan and schedule PO’s with vendors for replenishment orders in appropriate quantities (based on reorder point planning for commodities).
Manage inventory stock levels by applying advanced inventory control techniques, monitoring and update minimum and maximum stock levels, maintain target inventory level for raw and semi-finished goods (assembled parts), cycle counting and physical inventory.
Work alongside with purchasing and quality teams to validate the supplier performance metrics.
Working with quality department on disposition/replacement of obsolete and parts with poor quality standards.
Perform Inventory Analytics to ensure optimum on-hand inventory and take appropriate measures to reduce overstocking.
Release planned orders for materials under purchasing blanket appropriately by assessing the requirements of R&D.
Update and maintain the MRP metrics in Master Schedule.
Regularly update the T&V testing schedule according to the projects planned by cross functional teams
(design, project management, product development and software & advanced engineering teams).
Update and maintain the calibration master schedule for test equipment and timely coordination with calibration agencies for scheduling repair and calibration of equipments.
Working with Materials and Purchasing teams for assessing risks associated with supply chain and communicating the same with Engineering and Project Management teams.
Ensuring workplace safety by assessing the hazards before start of tests and safely locking out damaged equipments.

Course outcome was to apply technical knowledge of manufacturing in an industrial setup and support the production in all segments, right from product development phase until shipping out the finished goods.
Proficiency in preparing material planning schedules on SAP/ERP systems.
Capable of reviewing and designing the Bill of Materials & Bill of Quantities.
Relevant Coursework – Resource Planning, Lean Six Sigma, Supply Chain Management, Project Risk
Management, SAP S4/HANA.
Capstone Project – Worked in a small team to fulfill a client requirement for a new product. This included designing the project plan, risk management strategies, budget, technical design of product, inventory & production schedule, defining the quality standards & quality management policies and implication of lean six sigma in the manufacturing process.
