I hold a doctoral degree in population health and have cultivated a deep passion for data analytics and storytelling. Throughout my career as a researcher and instructor, I’ve consistently utilized many software solutions including Power BI to craft impactful visualizations and dashboards, translating complex data into meaningful narratives. With exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to bridge data and decision-making.
I am an internationally trained Public Health Researcher with more than ten years of experience in mental health, academic & field research. Currently, I am an Instructor for Office Administrative Health Programs (OAH) for several Medical, Ethics and Research related courses. Previously, I worked at CAMH on a project to develop sustainable population mental health tracking using machine learning techniques to create predictive trajectories in mental health. In previous projects, I managed and mentored people in executing several household surveys, facilitated qualitative data collections, and conducted several randomized control trials, community surveys, intervention studies, health-facility surveys, and feasibility & policy studies. Knowledgeable of full research coordination and community partnership from planning, implementation, and community partnership building, to designing a database for data collection & analysis. I am trained to apply participatory rural approaches in collecting field data. Coordinated several health projects to develop research protocols and strong communication skills, prepared the research study budget and trained research assistants. Published twelve peers reviewed and received ten project grants.
