Hello,
My name is Tainou S. Hoeve. I graduated from Capilano University in the spring of 2023 with a Bachelors in Business Administration. I am also a CPHR Candidate with the CPHR BC & Yukon Association. Before earning my Bachelors, I gained a lot of administrative experience in Brazil working for my parents construction company between 2008 and 2013. Working from a home office, I performed various functions for the company such as coordinating logistics, basic accounting, market analysis, participating in the development of competitive pricing strategies, workforce management, filing, faxing, scanning and answering phone calls. Upon my return to Vancouver, I decided to write a novel for which I am currently seeking representation. I have also written a couple of novellas which are currently self-published on Amazon. During my time in university, I acquired a broad range of business knowledge, from micro and macro economics, to marketing, finance and accounting, to human resource management. I also worked as a ghostwriter for E-Writer Solutions, producing several professional eBooks and sat as Board Member and column writer for the Capilano Courier. I graduated with a GPA of 3.3 and thoroughly enjoyed my academic journey. Besides writing and reading, I love learning new things. My most recent skill acquisition is an intermediate level understanding of the programming language Python 3.11. When I'm not being creative or trying to learn something new, I love being outside and staying active and healthy.
