The Diplôme d'Études Professionnelles from the École des Métiers des Faubourgs-de-Montréal, in support services for health and social services establishments, allowed me to acquire the knowledge and skills to work as a patient care attendant (PAB) or health and social services auxiliary (ASSS). I was able to develop expertise in hygiene care, safe mobilization, infection prevention, and supporting users experiencing a loss of autonomy, while adopting a human, respectful, and dignity-centered approach. Ability to work effectively in demanding environments such as CHSLDs, hospitals, and residential facilities.
