Cybersecurity student currently completing a 2-year Cybersecurity diploma at Red River College Polytechnic, with hands-on experience in security monitoring, SIEM, network security, Windows and Linux environments, and security investigations through technical labs and a simulated banking security project. Experienced with Wazuh, Sysmon, Suricata, Wireshark, The Hive, Cortex, Fortinet, Kali Linux, Ubuntu, Windows Server, Active Directory, PowerShell, Python, and SQL. Strong foundation in TCP/IP, OSI networking, IP addressing, subnetting, firewalls, VPNs, endpoint security, vulnerability management, malware, and incident response.
Interested in applying technical skills in a Security Operations Centre environment while continuing to develop security investigation and threat detection capabilities.
