• Supervised the cleanup and Reconciliation of Month End reports of 5 Francophone field offices to ensure all Outstanding payables have been paid and matching has been completed.
• Reviewed field finance reports, vouchers and supporting documentation, bank reconciliations, and other financial data received from field operations.
• Responsible for correct, complete, and timely transmittal of accounting data from field office accountants to headquarters.
• Prepared and reviewed entries for posting in accounting system. Training and supporting field office accountants in accounting procedures, Internews policies and procedures and funder financial rules and regulations.

East African Breweries Ltd 

• Coordinated and prepared the F18 Budget for Enterprise Operations Nairobi using a new software application (ANAPLAN) to provide an efficient analysis of spend in the coming year and meet budget requirements.
• Ensured 100% tracking of actions towards prompt closure. Escalate where necessary to LMs/Ops Manager on a timely basis
• Followed up and challenged the service providers (vendors) billing. Ensuring timely billing, payment and resolution of issues. Supported Project team in financial management of their project cost centers
• Monitored the Online issues log tool and follow up with the Service Delivery teams on closing the issues. Facilitation of ABSC PTP processes, procurement and contracting activities.

East African Breweries Ltd

• Implemented our metrics at the agreed service level: Cash collections / Overdue at most 2% (any overdue greater than 2% explainable with evidence as being approved); DSO at most 35 days; all SLA’s met etc.)
• Categorized the customers by their riskiness and the same inbuilt into SAP with regular challenge to the market's credit risk team.

Alliance Française de Nairobi

• Managed and implemented a 150,000 Euros Grant project that was received from the European Union.
• Implemented the set up and adoption of a new accounting system (ACCPAC) to improve on Presentation of Financial statements and management of cultural activities
• Handled the set up and implementation of a 500,000 USD pension scheme for the staff where we transferred the gratuity funds maintained in the company accounts to a pension guaranteed fund with Jubilee Insurance.
• Prepared the Annual Budget, analysis of the financial trends in comparison to previous years.

• Collaborated closely with our Alliance Française Bank in France in ensuring that the banking transactions are posted effectively, and all the banking requirements are met as required.
