As a dedicated civil engineering student, I am passionate about designing and constructing sustainable infrastructure that enhances communities and improves quality of life. With a strong foundation in mathematics and physics, I enjoy tackling complex problems and finding innovative solutions in projects ranging from transportation systems to environmental management. My hands-on experience through internships and collaborative projects has sharpened my technical skills and fostered a deep appreciation for teamwork and effective communication. I am eager to contribute to impactful engineering solutions that prioritize both functionality and sustainability as I embark on my professional journey.
I worked over the 2024 summer building fences and painting. Although not as large scaled I hope to work on, this provided me with experience on a jobsite and learning how to actually build something. This year I am on the Queens Concrete Toboggan design team on the mechanical, civil, and finance sub teams and will join my team when we present our design solution in Montreal in January 2025. As well, I have extensive restaurant experience, having worked as a host, expeditor, busser and in the kitchen. I also worked in a gym this past summer as a fitness consultant.
Currently in my second year of Civil Engineering at Queen's Smith Applied Science's program with an expected graduation year of 2027.
