Tyler Martyn

Hello,

My name is Tyler Martyn and I am currently enrolled in the Bachelor's of Computer Science program at Algoma University. My skills in web development consist of the languages HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Node.js. Using these programming languages I have the ability to develop aesthetically pleasing, fully functional websites. My skills in application development include Java, Python and Python based languages such as GDScript or GML, and C. Using these languages I am able to develop complete programs and applications that are easy to understand and use. I am also able to make video games using these skills. I am able to easily grasp new languages as needed. I also have some experience with 3D Modelling and sprite design.

I have worked at two different locations that all require working diligently and effectively with a team. My most recent place of employment is Jack's Chicken and Fish located on Great Northern Rd. Jack's is a food truck with only a handful of employees working at a time due to limited space. As a small team we must work together efficiently in order to serve large quantities of guests in a timely manner. I have worked at Jack's seasonally for 3 years and have been put in a position of responsibility. I am a full-time cook at Jack's during the summer which often means I must delegate the floor. I have also previously worked at Tim Horton's from 2017-2020.

I am currently enrolled in the Bachelor's of Computer Science program at Algoma University. I am currently in my third year.
