Uthmaan Khan

I’m a passionate business and finance student looking to acquire the necessary skills needed in securing an internship or entry level role. I’m currently a BBA student specializing in business and finance at Yorkville University who is also pursing a CFA. During my studies, I gained a solid foundation in finance, including coursework in Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Investments, and Financial Statement Analysis.

Ive also completed numerous courses from CFI, udemy, coursea and Wall Street covering various topics such as financial modelling, proficient use of excel, software tools, investment consulting, capital market and corporate finance.

My future goals revolve around personal and professional growth. I would love to be apart of a company that is keen on helping others while being able to expand my skills in the field. My passion is to leave a long lasting impression on a company during and after my employment duration. I’m eager to learn about everything about the finance/business sector. My resume is attached below. I’m more than willing to work for free as long as I’m learning and acquiring skills to help my self and others.

My professional experience so far has been limited. However, in the short amount of time I was able to learn and refine my skills to efficiently complete tasks in the finance and accounting sector. I’ve done previous internships as a junior analyst where I was able to learn how to use the software tools mentioned on my resumé. over the course of my learning I was able to help organizations maximize profits while minimizing expenses and resources. over time My critical and strategic thinking under pressure is due to the professional experience I’ve had since my under grad. This has also incentivized my passion for learning and my goal to leave a long lasting positive impression on a company.

Recently I’ve taken additional courses on financial and capital markets. Advanced courses in excel, Python and S and L. I’ve also taken additional investment banking courses on udemy. I’m currently doing my FMVA and credit risk analysis certification at CFI. I’m continuously trying to learn and refine the necessary skills to work in the field.
