Student and Articling Student Recruitment:
- Collaborate with the Director of Students & Articling to recruit students and articling students for the Montreal and Quebec City offices.
- Plan and coordinate the process of the two articling races.
- Manage the ViLaw Portal to post job opportunities, analyze applications (500+) and make detailed recommendations.
- Collaborate with over 50 lawyers to ensure the organization of interview panels (20+).
- Act as the primary point of contact for students and attorneys, answering questions and providing information about the selection process and job openings.
Academic networking, events, social media:
- Responsible for organizing approximately 30 internal and external networking events in collaboration with various universities, organizations, caterers, etc.
- Ensure effective management of sponsorships, partnerships, scholarships, competitions and law school activities while maintaining regular communication with universities.
- Organize the firm's internal events calendar.
- Manage the firm's Student and Intern Instagram and Facebook accounts covering topics such as student life and professional engagement.
Student Summer Program, Bar Internships and BCF Ventures:
- Work with the Knowledge Management Department Head to create a new intensive program of training and activities for law students in the 2 offices.
- Conduct weekly follow-ups with students and interns regarding their professional development within the firm.
- Assist in verifying expense accounts and time entries in the Elite 3E software.
- Responsible for updating all documents and processes related to the Summer Program and Internship Race in the firm's DMS system (iManage).
