I am a Canadian citizen, but currently living in the UK and working as a Bookkeeper/VAT assistant in a UK-based accountancy firm. I have many years of various accounting experience: Accounting Assistant, Bookkeeper, VAT assistant, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Income tax preparer. I could be a valuable addition to any accounting team and would bring the wealth of knowledge and experience that I gained during the years working in the accounting field.

Dodd & Co Chartered Accountants, Carlisle UK - I started in January 2024 and currently working here as a Bookkeeper/VAT Assistant. I am preparing the client's VAT (Value Added Tax) Returns. I am using Dext, QuickBooks and Xero accounting software. I am also training to become an Accounts Assistant.

Rockport Group, Toronto, ON, Canada - March 2022 to January 2024. I was responsible for the full cycle of Accounts Payable. Using Yardi accounting software, coding invoices, checking for approvals, preparing weekly ACH/cheque payments, processing employee expenses, generating ageing reports for the management, entering Journal Entries as required, and training other accounting staff.

Shoppers Drug Mart and MediSystem Pharmacy - I worked here from 2007 to 2022. I started as Accounts Receivable in MediSystem Pharmacy, (a Shoppers Drug Mart company) - dealing with loads of customers, preparing customers' monthly statements, mailing the statements, answering phone call inquiries, processing credit card payments and online payments. Then I moved to an Accounts Payable position in Shoppers Drug Mart head office in Toronto, Canada.

I was processing invoices, generating reports, month-end accruals, etc.

I graduated University of National and World Economy, Sofia, Bulgaria in 1997.
