Vihangi Perera

I’m currently a student looking to join the workforce to gain real-world experience. Having the ability to complete tasks on time in both individual and team settings is an area I’ve been praised in during high school. I’m dependable and ready to learn and grow with good judgement, time management, and a flexible schedule. Frequently described as a hard-working individual by my teachers and peers, and I can be relied upon to help your company achieve its goals.

I worked as a cashier/team member from May 2021 to January 2022 at Rn Traders, Sri Lanka. I handled cash and credit transactions; Organized products; Weighed Food Items for customers as well as packaged Food Items; Cleaned and Swept the area; I also lifted heavy products such as rice bags.

I was a team member from January to February 2023 at Swiss Chalet, Calgary, AB. I packaged and labelled to-go and delivery orders for pickup; Placed orders into POS systems and handled cash and credit transactions; Followed all safety and security procedures to reduce risks; Organized and stored ingredients according to schematics and expiration dates.

I've got a high school diploma from The British School in Colombo, after completing Cambridge A levels with the subjects; Business Studies, Economics and Psychology. Currently I'm a student at The University of Calgary, enrolled in The Bachelor of Commerce course for Business.
