Viraj Murab

My name is Viraj and I am a passionate web developer. I have a strong interest in technology and enjoy using my skills to create dynamic and user-friendly websites. In my free time, I like to stay active and play both basketball and badminton. I also have a passion for learning and have honed my mathematical skills through learning Abacus and visual calc. With my technical skills and love for both physical and mental activities, I am always seeking new challenges and opportunities to grow and improve.

At this point in time, I have yet to enter a professional work environment, but I am actively seeking opportunities to gain experience in my field. Currently, I am working on a group project for my Android development class, where I am participating in the development of a barcode scanner app with multiple functionalities using Java code. This project is a great opportunity for me to put my Java skills into practice and gain hands-on experience in the development process. Additionally, the app is linked to Firebase, providing me with exposure to working with database systems and cloud-based technologies. I am eager to continue gaining experience and building my professional portfolio in the future.

As a student at the University of Alberta, I am pursuing a comprehensive computer science education that covers key areas such as machine learning, C programming, C++ programming, Python programming, Android development, and Julia programming. The program is designed to provide students with a thorough understanding of computer science and its applications, and I have found it to be both challenging and rewarding. The curriculum's breadth and depth of subjects have given me a solid foundation in the field and have equipped me with the skills and knowledge to succeed in my future career.
