I am a very well rounded person. I know who I am and where I am going. My words are quality when I speak not quantity. I am focused on learning and growing every day. emotionally, spirituality, physically. Both as a Peer Support Worker and as a man.
I bring 30 years of personal lived experience. I injected Crystal Meth for 2 decades. I struggled with 15 years of infection from a knee replacement surgery and ended up losing my right leg. I was diagnosed with HIV 3 decades ago and survived it. At the end of the day I am the driving force that got me through all of it. I didn't survive anything. I lived it. I only go back into my past when I need to see what didn't work. Otherwise I am grateful for these moments right now.
I took a 5 week Crystal Meth Peer Support Worker Course through St. Stephan's House.
