I've been a deckhand for the last three years in Pictou County. I've fished lobster and herring in Pictou and snowcrab in Cheticamp as well as being a deckhand and bridgewatch on the Osprey No 1 in BC, a large factory trawler. All of my previous captain's will give a great reference about how I'm a hard, reliable worker and learn very quick. I've helped preparing gear and with maintaining the boat and equipment. I have a valid MED, Marine Medical, and will be doing the ROC-M and Marine First Aid in January.
