Yas Patel

I’m Yas Patel, Developer and Designer, an international student at Fanshawe college pursuing Network Security and Architecture Program. I have completed my bachelor's degree from Vishwakarma Government Engineering College (VGEC), India.

My resume is a fusion of design and development in the field of information technology. One of the important professional experiences I bring along with me, is that of a startup company, ‘Bundle’ where I wore multiple hats to fulfill the needs of the project and the company’s interests. In Startup, as a ML Engineer my work was mainly focused on building Recommendation Engine and Ranking Algorithms. As a Product Designer, I was solely responsible for Designing whole product experience which is one of the best projects I have worked on in the recent years. I have significant involvement in co-curricular activities as well. I have contributed as a chairperson of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) VGEC Student Branch and AdvaNature Club VGEC. Where, I got the experience of leading the student teams.

I was born and brought in India, I have completed my bachelor's in Field of Information Technology in Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, Ahmedabad, India. During my bachelor's i have worked very diverse projects which includes domain like Machine Learning, Data Science, Web Development, Mobile Applications and Product Designing as well. Currently pursing my post grad in Fanshawe college's Network Security and Architecture Program. Where i got hands on experience working with firewalls, servers and all.
