Yunqian Gan

I'm Yunqian (Winnie). I graduated from UBC last year and worked with Detecon, Season marine investment cooperation, and CITIC securities before. I am passionate about finding solutions based on research and using data to solve problems. And I enjoy the process of collaborating with cross-functional teams.

I've worked for Detecon and Season marine investment corperation where I owned financial reporting and data collecting, as well as partnering with business teams to understand pain points, provide insights and drive results through financial analysis and model creation. In addition, I have 1 year customer service experience at UBC and CITIC securities where I gained my experience to ask probing questions to understand and listen for sales cues and answer every incoming communication about finance/gym products.

I graduated in December 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in finance at UBC, which equipped me with a solid theoretical foundation and critical thinking abilities required to excel in a career in consulting.
