Hello!
I am an Assistant Professor of fine arts with two decades of experience, specializing in painting, drawing and conceptual art. I teach self- awareness through my lessons and indeed it is what inspires my own artworks.
I enjoy encouraging deep self reflection and self-definition through following creative thinking methodologies, cognitive behavioral therapy and philosophy.
In my two decades of experience I have micro and macro managed, directed and coached, mentored and tutored over 2500+ artists and artisans. These experiences have taught me invaluable lessons in communication, discipline, hard work and grit. I have always championed the creative spirit and team work through collaborations and interactive art sessions. I have excellent delivery, instructional design, cognitive behavioural therapy, and critical evaluation skills.
I graduated from Fatima Jinnah University in Masters in Fine Arts in 2001 with a 3.76 GPA.
My thesis was built around the philosophy of death and life. An installation of paintings, photo montages, textile art, video art and glass blown pieces. I took 32 credits more than the required 56 credits securing a gold medal for my project called “Death's Dream Kingdom." Which questioned the way we perceive morality in the backdrop of death in the light of near-death experiences, spirituality and the transience of time.
