As a third-year undergraduate at the University of British Columbia (UBC), my journey toward a major in Psychology has just begun. Initially, two years of my degree were dedicated to the field of Biology, igniting a deep passion for social and developmental psychology. With a strong science background, a solid foundation is laid to explain various psychological phenomena.

My experiences include actively participating as a university-level debater and preparing for the role of Events & Marketing Director for the UBC Debate Society in the upcoming fall. The world of debate became a part of my life five years ago, during my initial year of high school. Fuelled by a genuine love for argumentation, as well as the exploration of diverse perspectives and fields of study, the decision to pursue a career in Law was solidified.

Gaining hands-on experience within a law firm holds great importance as an aspiring lawyer, providing a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies and various roles inherent in a legal office. Additionally, expanding my impact within the debating community by coaching fellow students and delving into different argumentation styles and approaches remains a top priority to enhance my skills. Currently, an ideal position would offer full-time shifts on weekdays located in either Abbotsford or Vancouver.

However, once the fall semester commences, my availability will be limited to part-time positions exclusively within the Vancouver area, as my focus will be on resuming my studies.
