With over a decade of experience as a dedicated and knowledgeable family law clerk, I have developed a deep understanding of family law practice and procedure, including complex matters involving custody, support, property division, and domestic contracts. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with clients of various walks of life, counsel, and court staff, consistently demonstrating strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and a high degree of professionalism.
My extensive exposure to litigation and dispute resolution processes, as well as my practical involvement in drafting legal documents, preparing court materials, and managing files from inception to resolution, has equipped me with the competencies and insight required of an articling student. This experience has not only solidified my legal foundation but also fostered a client-focused and solution-oriented approach to legal practice.
Now in the process of transitioning to the role of a lawyer, I am applying for an abridged articling term in recognition of my substantial legal experience and contributions to the field. I am eager to continue developing my legal career, further refining my advocacy and legal research skills, and making a meaningful impact as a future member of the legal profession.
I have an undergrad degree in Paralegal Studies from Humber College, as well as an LLB (Honours) from Birmingham Law School in the United Kingdom.
