Glad you stopped by! People are my passion. I love to learn how to best connect with all types of people. My goal is to make a career out of studying consumer psychology, behaviour, and trends to best connect the right people to the right products and services.
After graduating my Bachelors degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, & Behaviour at McMaster University, I spent the last two years working as a clinical research assistant in the Anxiety Treatment and Research Clinic at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton.
There, I played a pivotal role in conducting the Family Accommodation Reduction study for family members of OCD patients, including conducting an OCD literature review, writing the study's rationale and protocol, recruiting participants over the phone and implementing my data collection and analysis plan.
Now, I am looking to use my basis in psychology and pivot to a career where my knowledge and research skills can be more directly applied to the average person: Market Research.
I aim to complete a Masters in Applied Psychology, Marketing Strategy and/or Consumer Psychology so that I may hone my skills to achieve this goal.
Bachelors of Psychology, Neuroscience, & Behaviour, McMaster: Graduated Summa Cum Laude - Excelled at courses such as Research Methods, Social Psychology, Descriptive & Inferential Statistics, Scientific Writing, Motivation & Emotion, and Attitudes & Persuasion
