DevOps Engineer - Remote

About the Role

As a DevOps System Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting cloud infrastructure, maintaining deployment and monitoring automation, and optimizing the systems that support software development. You will work independently on technical challenges, contribute to infrastructure decisions, and collaborate with professional teams to improve service scalability, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the company's cloud strategy and its implementation.
• Provision, administer, and document infrastructure for continuous integration, deployment, monitoring, and test automation.
• Manage and maintain Docker images used in software development and delivery.
• Configure and optimize the performance of MySQL, MariaDB, Apache, NGINX, and other infrastructure components.
• Monitor and apply software updates to maintain system reliability and security.
• Provision new server configurations and maintain the related technical documentation.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential value for software development.
• Support the scalability and ongoing improvement of cloud-based services.

Required Qualifications

• Professional experience in DevOps engineering.
• Experience scaling services and bringing services into cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, AWS, Docker, DigitalOcean, Redis, MySQL, and MariaDB.
• Experience administering Linux operating systems.
• A flexible, reliable, and structured approach to work.
