Fullstack Developer - Payment Transactions / SWIFT / PostgreSQL / 100% / Zurich

Project : For a challenging project in the financial sector, we are looking for a Fullstack Developer to strengthen an agile Scrum team. The team develops, operates, and optimizes applications in the field of electronic payment transactions, particularly in the areas of EBICS, SWIFT, and MBCLT. Start date: October 1, 2026, for 12 months in Zurich.

Tasks:

• Independent implementation of features and user stories within an agile Scrum team.
• Analysis and technical understanding of requirements in close collaboration with the specialist departments.
• Technical conception, analysis and design of banking requirements
• Development and enhancement of backend components using Java and Spring

Development and further development of frontend components with Angular

• Analysis and processing of database requirements with Oracle and PostgreSQL
• Creation and optimization of SQL queries
• Taking responsibility for the quality, deadlines and technical implementation of one's own deliverables.
• Contributing to the further development of solutions in the field of EBICS, SWIFT and payment transactions
• Support for existing applications during ongoing operation
• Independent handling of 2nd-level support and incidents
• Close collaboration with IT teams and subject matter experts

Requirements:

• Several years of professional experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack Developer or comparable role
• Excellent practical experience in Java and Spring
• Excellent knowledge of Angular
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Solid experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL
• Experience with agile development methods, especially Scrum
• Experience in the technical analysis and design of complex applications
• Experience in the banking or payment processing environment
• Knowledge of EBICS and/or SWIFT is an advantage.
• Experience with production-related application support, 2nd-level support and incident management
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented work style

• German: Negotiation-level fluency C2
• English: good B2
