## About the Role

Fincons Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Java backend development and frontend skills in Angular. You will join an Agile Release Train (ART) operating within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment and contribute to innovative CRM projects, cross-functional features, enterprise-system development, and bug-fixing activities.

The role combines hands-on software engineering with subject-matter expertise in Java, microservices, APIs, and enterprise application development. You will work closely with Agile teams and Product Owners to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions while applying secure coding practices and supporting the full development lifecycle.

## Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and test Java-based backend solutions.
• Build and maintain microservices architectures and REST APIs.
• Act as a subject-matter expert for Java, microservices, and API solutions throughout their development lifecycle.
• Support the development and lifecycle management of robust Java solutions.
• Work closely with Agile teams and Product Owners to gather requirements.
• Document technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Develop new transversal features for enterprise systems.
• Perform bug fixing and contribute to enterprise application improvements.
• Apply secure coding best practices to deliver robust and secure solutions.
• Ensure solutions align with applicable regulatory requirements.

## Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in software design and development with Java 21 , including versions up to Java 25.
• Excellent command of Java Stream, Lambda, and Try-with-resources.
• Good knowledge of recent Angular versions.
• Excellent knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Advanced practical skills with:
• Spring Boot
• Spring Framework
• Spring Data
• RESTful API design and implementation
• Solid knowledge of JPA and Hibernate, including entity modeling, query optimization, transaction management, and persistence-layer best practices.
• Experience with JUnit and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience with relational databases, including Oracle and PostgreSQL, and stored procedures.
• Experience with Git and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of SwaggerHub.
• Ability to understand and manage JSON API payloads.
• Experience working in Agile and SAFe environments.
• Proficiency in Italian and English is required.

## Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience with Cucumber.

• Angular experience is required at the stated level of good knowledge.
• Experience with BDD/Cucumber is preferred.
