# Senior Java Fullstack Developer
## About the Role
Wavestone is seeking an experienced Senior Java Fullstack Developer for a long-term customer project in Bern, Switzerland. The role covers the analysis, design, model development, and implementation of both backend and frontend components using Java, Oracle, and modern web technologies.
You will contribute to a long-term project in a senior engineering capacity, working primarily in Bern with a defined remote work component. The position requires strong Oracle expertise, extensive software development experience, and fluent German communication skills.
## Key Responsibilities
* Analyse technical and business requirements for software solutions.
* Design and develop backend components using Java and Oracle technologies.
* Design and implement frontend components using modern web technologies.
* Develop and maintain software models and technical solutions.
* Implement fullstack application components across backend and frontend layers.
* Contribute to technical design and solution architecture.
* Collaborate with project stakeholders to deliver reliable and maintainable solutions.
* Support the ongoing development and implementation of the customer project.
## Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of professional software development experience.
* Strong experience with Java development.
* Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle.
* Fullstack development experience covering both backend and frontend components.
* Experience with modern web technologies.
* Experience in software analysis, design, model development, and implementation.
* Fluent German language skills.
* Ability to work independently and effectively within a customer-focused project environment.
