Role Description The Java Software Developer role is a full-time remote position focused on designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, implementing and supporting microservices architectures, and using the Spring Framework to build scalable backend solutions. The developer will participate in code reviews, collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, and troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and development environments.

The role also involves contributing to software design discussions, improving system performance, and following secure coding and best practice standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Java and general Programming to build and maintain reliable applications.
• Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including SDLC understanding, testing, and version control practices.
• Candidates should possess experience with Microservices, including designing, deploying, and integrating distributed services.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with the Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security) for backend development.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, relational or NoSQL databases, and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage time independently, and collaborate using online communication tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to writing maintainable, testable code.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
