# Senior / Technical Lead Software Engineer – .NET

## About the Role

ERNI is seeking a Senior / Technical Lead Software Engineer to take technical responsibility for the architecture, design, and hands-on implementation of modern software solutions in the .NET ecosystem. You will develop backend services, cross-platform applications, and database solutions while ensuring high standards for software quality, security, and clean code.

The role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership within projects. You will collaborate closely with customers and interdisciplinary teams, contribute to technical decision-making, and support presales activities by helping shape practical technical solutions.

## Key Responsibilities

* Take technical responsibility for architecture, design, and implementation of modern .NET software solutions.

* Develop backend services using ASP.NET Core.

* Build cross-platform applications within the .NET ecosystem, including technologies such as .NET MAUI.

* Design and implement database solutions using Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, SQLite, and related technologies.

* Ensure software quality through code reviews, engineering best practices, and clean-code standards.

* Implement and maintain secure software solutions, including authentication and encryption.

* Provide technical leadership within projects without direct disciplinary management responsibility.

* Collaborate closely with customers and interdisciplinary project teams.

* Support technical presales activities and contribute to the development of technical solutions.

## Required Qualifications

* Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related qualification from an ETH, FH, university, or HF.

* Several years of professional software development experience with a focus on C# and .NET, including .NET Core / .NET 10.

* Experience in a senior or technical lead software engineering role with a focus on architecture and hands-on development.

* Very good knowledge of ASP.NET Core.

* Experience developing cross-platform applications within the .NET ecosystem.

* Experience with modern data-access technologies such as Entity Framework Core.

* Experience with relational database systems such as SQL Server or SQLite.

* Experience with secure authentication and security concepts.

* Confident use of Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.

* Experience with common collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.

* Very good written and spoken German and English.

## Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with .NET MAUI.

* Experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Portal and virtual machines.

* Experience with Telerik.

## Work Arrangement & Schedule

* Work Arrangement: Remote

* Remote work is available for up to 5 weeks per year outside Switzerland, but within Europe.
