Python Developer – Automation, Github, ServiceNow – vacancy for our Basel based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Design, develop and maintain automated workflows for recurring control activities, evidence collection and exception handling.
• Build integrations between ServiceNow, GitHub, Microsoft 365 applications and internal workflow systems.
• Automate evidence gathering for internal audit reviews, improving accuracy, traceability and timeliness.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions for automation scripts, ServiceNow update sets and Power Automate flows.
• Implement automated alerting and escalation for overdue controls, policy exceptions and CMDB data-quality issues.
• Create dashboards and reports to provide clear insight into control status, compliance posture and process KPIs.

Your experience/knowledge:

• 5–8 years’ experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend technologies and automation.
• Strong recent experience with Python, REST and GraphQL API integration, GitHub Actions and secrets/environment management.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, ideally including ITSM, ITAM and ITGRC, as well as Flow Designer and Business Rules.
• Experience with CMDB, Discovery, PowerShell, Hybrid AD scripting and JSON/XML data manipulation.
• Language skills: English
