Project: For the modernization of an existing software product, we are looking for an experienced React Frontend Developer. The existing frontend is functional but technically and visually outdated. As part of the project, the interface will undergo a comprehensive modernization and be enhanced with new frontend-specific features:

We are looking for an experienced React Frontend Developer who can not only maintain and extend existing components, but also fundamentally modernize an existing frontend both technically and visually and independently implement new features.

Responsibilities

• Modernize and further develop an existing frontend application using React
• Design and implement a modern, state-of-the-art UI/UX
• Develop new frontend features and functionalities
• Refactor existing components and improve the overall user experience
• Integrate the frontend with existing backend systems and data sources
• Evaluate and implement suitable interfaces, e.g. APIs or database connections
• Work closely with the existing development team
• Independently implement development tasks and coordinate with relevant stakeholders

Requirements – Must-Have

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing modern React applications
• Strong knowledge of modern frontend technologies
• Experience modernizing and further developing existing frontend applications
• Experience integrating frontend applications with backend and/or database systems
• Good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with an existing codebase

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with the MERN stack
• Knowledge of MongoDB, Express.js and Node.js
• Experience with modern UI/UX concepts and design systems
• Experience developing or migrating existing legacy frontends

Language:

• German: nice to have
• English: mandatory B2 oder better
