React UI Developer

Role Description The React UI Developer role is a full-time, remote position focused on building and maintaining user-friendly, responsive interfaces for web applications. The person in this role will develop React-based components, integrate APIs, and ensure UI consistency across devices and browsers. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with designers and backend engineers, translating UI/UX wireframes into functional code, optimizing performance, and maintaining clean, reusable component libraries.

The role also involves reviewing code, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to continuous improvement of development practices and UI standards.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern front-end development practices.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or similar).
• Familiarity with state management tools such as Redux, Context API, or other relevant libraries.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating front-end components with backend services.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git, and common CI/CD workflows.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, with attention to performance and scalability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Prior experience in a product or startup environment, and an interest in staying current with front-end and React ecosystem trends, is a plus.
