Senior DevOps Engineer (CI/CD)

• Start: ASAP
• End: Initial 12 months (expected 2-3 years)
• Total Duration: 12 months + expected extension
• Contract Type: Personalverleih OR Service Agreement
• Location: Ideally 2-3 days/week onsite in Bern (negotiable)

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines
• Manage and optimize Git-based development workflows
• Implement and operate deployment pipelines using Argo CD and Jenkins
• Maintain monitoring, observability, and logging solutions (ELK Stack, Grafana)
• Operate and troubleshoot OpenShift-based environments
• Ensure secure secrets management with HashiCorp Vault
• Collaborate with development, operations, and architecture teams
• Support ongoing data synchronization challenges (SymmetricDS experience is a plus)

Mandatory Skills

• Several years of experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer in enterprise environments
• Deep understanding of automation and deployment practices
• Professional-level English (German beneficial)
• Strong hands-on expertise with:
  • Argo CD
  • Jenkins
  • ELK Stack
  • Grafana
  • OpenShift
  • HashiCorp Vault
  • GitHub
